Welcome - I'm Kelly, a qualified psychodynamic therapist offering online and telephone counselling.
Based in Epsom, Surrey, I work with adults across the UK who are experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief or feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns of thought or behaviour.
My approach is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, which means we’ll gently explore the deeper roots of emotional distress - often shaped by early life experiences or patterns from the past that may still be influencing how you feel and relate to others today. Gaining insight into these underlying influences can open up space for meaningful and lasting change.
I offer a warm, non-judgemental and confidential space where you can feel safe to talk openly and be heard. Together, we’ll reflect on what’s going on beneath the surface, helping you move toward greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and a more fulfilling way of living.
Sessions are available via phone or secure online video.
You're welcome to reach out for an initial conversation to see if we might work well together.
I currently offer online and telephone sessions only.
Sessions last 50 minutes, taking place on a weekly basis and cost £55 per session.
To help you decide whether you would like to continue with ongoing sessions, you're welcome to email me to arrange an initial consultation.
This is a chance for us to talk about what's bringing you to counselling, what you'd you like support with and whether working together feels like a good fit. It's also a space for you to ask questions and get a feel for how I work. This session is longer than usual - around 60-75 minutes. The fee for this is £65.
Feel free to contact me, if you have any questions or would like to make a booking.
Counselling is a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours with a trained therapist. It can help you understand yourself better, manage challenges, and make meaningful changes in your life.
I have specialist training and experience in the following areas:
During the initial consultation, we’ll talk about what’s brought you to counselling, what you hope to gain from it, and how we might work together. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask any questions and get a feel for whether this approach feels right for you.
This session typically lasts a little longer than regular weekly sessions, allowing us the time to explore your background, current concerns, and what you’d like to focus on in therapy. The fee for this is £65
Yes, what you share in counselling is confidential. There are some exceptions, such as if there is a risk of serious harm to you or others, or if I’m legally required to disclose information.
As a registered member of the BACP, I also attend regular supervision - a confidential, professional process where I discuss my work with a qualified supervisor. This helps ensure I’m practising ethically and effectively. No identifying details about you are shared.
If you have any questions or concerns about confidentiality, we can talk through them in our first session.
The number of sessions varies. Some clients feel better after just a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term therapy. We’ll regularly review your progress together.
I currently offer sessions online or by telephone only, which can be ideal if you prefer remote therapy or are unable to attend in person
Please email me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an initial consultation appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling and whether it could be helpful for you
